A slow Sunday at home. 💛

My husband made breakfast this morning while we spent a little time together as a family. Yesterday we also harvested another beautiful batch from the garden — potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers and more. 🥔🍅🍆 Seeing food go from our own backyard to our kitchen never gets old.

Even while I’m still taking it easy and letting my foot heal, life around the house and garden keeps moving. Sometimes it’s nice to appreciate the simple things happening right in front of us.

Now everyone has headed out to see the Spider-Man movie, so I have the house to myself for a little while. 📖☕ I’m catching up on The Party by Natasha Preston, putting my foot up, and enjoying some very rare quiet time.

Nothing particularly fancy today — just homegrown food, breakfast made with love, family time, a good book, and a quiet Sunday afternoon. 🌻

These are the kinds of days I want to share more of here — real family life, gardening, cooking, using what we grow, slowing down, and finding joy in ordinary moments.

  1. Thank you for sharing your daily shores and the photos of your harvesting. Everything looks yummy. You and your family are always in my prayers and you all are in my heart. God continues blessing you. I love what you are doing, planting and eating the real food. Always love you Liliana.
